Tis a brave man who picks the DOW
Im sorry guys but without the government meddling the subprime mess wouldnt have happened in the first place, end of story.
Still this will look like a walk in the park when the carbon trading market inevitably collapses-yet another grand socialist government failure in the making.
It is hard to pick the numbers on the DOW CK, tis a braveman who does.
I would agree though that it will take an extended period of time to regain lost ground but it will one day be higher than its last high, way higher.

 Re: Share Investor Corner
I did an interview with Don Braid from Mainfreight last week. This company and the man himself are one of our business stars and if their history is anything to go by they will one day be a major global logistics force. Of course I could be wrong and they could self detonate with a collapse in the USA affecting the whole company. Do your own research! Check out the Q & A below if you are interested: http://shareinvestornz.blogspot.com/200 ... ights.html

 Re: Share Investor Corner
The markets are due for another correction. As many have said the market has risen too much to fast. Another opportunity to buy when others are selling?

Not me, SI....the USA has some HUGE decisions to make about their debt load and I can see them slipping back into recession later this year. Someone with BALLS has to take financial charge in that country. About the only thing I would buy if it's down is gold...hard gold not certificates. CK

CK Very brave call on gold considering it is at quite high levels right now. The problem with the economy in the US is that the same people are there that were there under the great President Bush and their interfering in the economy certainly hasn't helped - post Bush or during. Have to let things fail Im afraid. That is the answer to the problem

Nothing brave about it....the same 2 or 3 guys who called for a $1,000 to $1,200 gold price are now saying $1,500 to $1,800 price. I have even read the $2,000 mentioned! I agree 100%! Someone with balls has to clean house. Alas, greed seems to be part of the American dream. CK

For those not reading the post containing the relevant stuff: viewtopic.php?f=45&t=6647Scott as an investment how long do you see yourself owning Xero shares and what sort of returns, and when, do you expect them?
